Mr. Chaimanis is a Co-Founder and Managing Director of Kendall Sustainable Infrastructure. His work focuses on all aspects of the business including setting the strategic direction, deal sourcing, financial structuring and asset management. Prior to Kendall, Mr. Chaimanis worked with a subsidiary of Edison International in California where he developed and acquired over $500M of energy projects, installing 250MW of renewable energy assets. Mr. Chaimanis is published and has lectured to universities on the topic of energy markets and renewables. Prior to his career in energy, Mr. Chaimanis co-founded a charter school. Mr. Chaimanis holds an M.B.A. from Babson College, and a B.S. in Finance from Villanova University. He has earned certification from US SIF for Sustainable and Responsible Investing (SRI).
Mr. Lehman currently serves as Managing Director of Kendall Investments and Kendall Sustainable Infrastructure. He has been with Kendall Investments since its inception in 2004. Mr. Lehman’s work includes deal sourcing, due diligence, negotiation and ongoing asset management. Prior to Kendall, Mr. Lehman’s work includes experience at private equity management company BDC Financial, Inc. and at the law firm of Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom, LLP. Mr. Lehman’s experience includes work as an attorney, an investor and an asset manager. Mr. Lehman holds a J.D. from Columbia University School of Law, an M.A. from Harvard University and a B.A. from Dartmouth College.
John Stroud is part of the business development team at Kendall Sustainable Infrastructure. His work includes new project identification, project diligence, and negotiation of acquisition and financing documents. Mr. Stroud brings vast experience in structuring, modeling, and closing energy projects. Previously, he negotiated, and ultimately acquired, over $200MM in coal-fired generation assets for a private equity group in the Caribbean and managed all development efforts for a waste-to-energy concern spanning the US municipal market. Most recently he led a team at Greenworks Lending that financed over $20MM in energy-efficiency projects including the first Commercial PACE closings in both Maryland and Washing, DC. Mr. Stroud holds an M.B.A from Georgetown University and a B.S. in Economics from James Madison University.
Jolandi Gevers CA(SA)
Jolandi is part of the asset management team. Jolandi studied accounting at the University of Cape Town, South Africa. She qualified as a chartered accountant registered with the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants in 2011. As part of her training she spent three years at the public accounting firm Baker Tilly Greenwoods Chartered Accountants. After this she lectured and performed research at the University of Cape Town for five years. Her specialty areas were financial analysis, management accounting, valuations and corporate financial management. During this time she also completed her Masters in Corporate Financial Management and performed various consulting services. At the beginning of 2017 Jolandi relocated to the Greater Boston area and worked as a cost analyst for National Grid’s Complex Gas Projects for eight months. Her responsibilities included analyzing costs and assisting project managers on a portfolio of projects totaling $150 million as well as providing information for the monthly reporting on the whole New England portfolio of projects presented to senior management. Jolandi joined KSI in 2018.
Francesca Pinto is a part of the Asset Management team at Kendall Sustainable Infrastructure. She joined the firm in 2019. Her responsibilities range from maintaining the firm’s operating portfolio to reporting and accounting. Prior to KSI Francesca has experience working in finance and accounting in the healthcare sector. Ms. Pinto holds a B.A. and M.A. in International Finance and Economics from Brandeis University.
Ashton Kille is an Analyst at Kendall Sustainable Infrastructure, joining the firm in 2018. His responsibilities include new business development, project management, research, due diligence, and investment analysis. Prior to Kendall, Ashton took on various internships including accounting and wealth management positions. He graduated from Bentley University in three years with a B.S. in Finance and a Liberal Studies Major concentrated in Earth, Environment and Global Sustainability.
Ron Glandian joined Kendall Sustainable Kendall Sustainable Infrastructure in 2018. His responsibilities include new business development, project management, due diligence, and investment analysis. Prior to Kendall, Ron’s work includes developing hundreds of solar systems in southern California as a project manager and analyst. He holds a B.A. from Boston University.
